| The 3rd China Henan
International Investment & Trade Fair, cosponsored
by the People's Government of Henan Province and China
Council for the Promotion of  International
Trade, will be held at the Central China International
Exposition Center, Zhengzhou on April 12-14, 2004.
The 3rd China Henan International Investment
& Trade Fair follows on the successful footsteps
of the last two China Henan Economic & Trade Fairs
of 2000 and 2002. This year's Fair will be an important
event for the People's Government of Henan Province
to broadly speed up the process of economic liberalization,
and enhance the economic and trade development of Henan.
By means of investment & trade exhibitions, new
project announcements and conferences, bilateral trade
negotiations, economic forums, etc., the Fair will completely
introduce Henan's development plan, investment environment
and new preferential policies to attract investment
and business. The Fair will serve as a platform to present
and promote:
A large number of high-priority projects with  substantial
profit potential,
Famous-brand products of Henan Province,
Forums to explore new paths available for mutual
economic development in post-WTO Henan, and
Opportunities for Chinese and foreign entities to
have broader and deeper exchanges and cooperation.
The Fair covers an area of 30,000 square meters,
and is divided into an overall exhibition section,
an investment negotiation and conference section,
an import/export trade exhibition section, and a foreign-invested
enterprise exhibition section. Product displays and
project negotiation
booths will be free for guest foreign companies. Seminars
on a broad range of investment and trade topics will
be held for participants. Several foreign embassies
in China and representatives from 18 major cities
of Henan, 3 national-level development zones and 23
key open counties will hold presentations on their
investment environments and specific investment project
opportunities.
